Rooney Able to Break Records Charlton

Manchester: Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson is optimistic that if striker Wayne Rooney will be able to match and even surpass the record scorer who until recently still held the Red Devils legend Sir Bobby Charlton who have survived for more than 40 years . Throughout his career at Old Trafford, 1956-1973, Charlton collected 249 goals in all competitions, 199 of which are created in the arena of the Premier League. From the list of scorers, only Rooney is expected to be able to equal and even surpass the record is phenomenal. Until now, the new Rooney notch 156 goals in all competitions, 111 of them in the Premier League. Number of goals Rooney was still less than the record of Ryan Giggs, who collected 161 goals. Ferguson's conviction was based on the length of the future of Rooney on the gridiron. With consistency, Ferguson believes the difference in a record 93 goals from Rooney Charlton can be pursued. "Wayne was only 25 years old. So, I think at least, in the next five years he was still playing at top level. If he is able to maintain his physical fitness as did Ryan (Giggs), he can continue doing business at the age exceeds 30 years. Thus, there is still a chance for him (score goals), "said Ferguson. This season is the eighth season Rooney costumed Red Devils. Of the eight season stay at Old Trafford, Rooney's best performance occurred in the 2009-2010 season, which scored 34 goals in all competitions, 26 of whom start carving in the Premier League. Now, after scoring nine goals from six parties in the premiership this season, Ferguson hopes Rooney capable of collecting 30 goals.
