Carragher: Patience, Liverpool Not ManCity

Liverpool's Jamie Carragher insists whoever the coach who replaced
Kenny Dalglish as Liverpool manager is not in a position to be
candidates for targeted Premier League champions next season. It can
take a long process for a coach to form a championship team. The Reds
have been 'fast' Premier League title for 22 years. And this season
became the worst season of competition after finishing in the top
eight standings and failed to win tickets kualikifikasi European
competition. "I do not think our team like Chelsea can ManCity or
poured a charge of £ 200 million (to recruit star players). I think we
should build the team a little slower than them," said Carragher as
reported by the Belfast Telegraph, Friday, May 18, 2012 . "Let's try
and once again reach the top four. After successfully securing it, we
can go much further. As we did with Gerard Houllier and Rafa Benitez,"
he continued. Carragher did not deny he was very upset with the
sacking of the hit Kenny Dalglish. But be aware, the club management
decisions should be respected by all elements of the team. Moreover,
the decision was not a bad outcome regardless of the Kop in the
Premier League this season. "I'm disappointed for Kenny because he
loves this club with a passion. This (day dismissal) was a sad day for
him. On domestic cup event we have had a fantastic season, but in the
league we all know it's disappointing," he said. "Obviously you have
to respect the decisions made club management. They felt that this was
the best decision for the benefit of the club, so you have to accept
this decision," he said.
