Milan Back Hunt Maxi Lopez

Milan reportedly re-awaken interest in recruiting Catania striker, Maxi Lopez. Lopez bomber targeted after its flagship, Alexandre Pato should be sidelined for three to four weeks because of injury. The Brazilian international striker suffered a muscle injury when bringing the Rossoneri qualify for the Coppa Italia quarter-finals after beating Novara 2-1 midweek. Pato's injury adds to Milan's heavy burden, because previously, Antonio Cassano has been ruled out until the end of the season because of heart problems. With the Champions League schedule is getting closer, making Diavolo Roso camp reportedly tried to bring a new striker. The reason, Milan now only have four choices on the front line, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Stephen Young striker El Shaarawy and veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi. Maxi Lopez actually has been a target of Milan since late last year. 27-year-old player was targeted as the backup destination if the primary target, Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez failed to be brought to the San Siro. But for no apparent reason, Milan have gone back from his intention aiming Lopez. Even the Red Devils camp also remove the chance of getting Tevez as striker, Pato decided to stay at the San Siro.
